The weather was very kind to us on this lovely June day for the annual Scholes Gala.
Targeting Archery ran a Have-a-Go range for the day. The theme for the event this year was "Getting fit for sport".
After a bit of effort and several pairs of hands, the safety netting is up and the range is ready for the start of the event.
At this point, Karen put on the first round of bacon butties which went down very well with the volunteers on the day.
Karen put a lot of work into the displays at the entrance to the range, building on the "Get fit for sport" theme.

There were plenty of other stalls and fairground rides at the gala.

Even the very young were able to have a go using our plastic bows and sucker arrows.
