Junior Club

I run dedicated sessions for school aged children. These run all year round and are not restricted to term time only.

I have a range of equipment suitable for junior school and senior school aged children. Sessions are designed so that children of all archery abilities from complete beginner to regular archer can come and enjoy the session. I provide qualified education and enjoy bringing on the younger people in this wonderful sport of archery.

Since qualifying as an Archery GB Talent Coach, I am also able to spot promising talents in the young archers and if they are interested I can feed them through to the various Archer GB schemes to enhance their progression in archery, such as the Archery GB Performance Academy Programme which is designed to take promising young archers and encourage and coach them over a multi-year programme with an aim of getting them into international competitions and ultimately the Olympics. So if your young archer has big plans for their archery career, my Junior Club coaching sessions are an excellent starting point for beginning their archery education.

All equipment needed will be provided. Just ensure your child wears suitable footwear (no open toed shoes or sandals and ideally stronger than canvas, for foot protection against arrows partially hidden in the field. All juniors must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.

Please contact me if you would like more information on my Junior Club sessions.

The Junior Club runs on Tuesday afternoons

3:45pm - 4:45pm Junior School aged children.
5:00pm - 6:00pm Senior School aged children.

Each session costs £5.00 for the hour long session. As this is not an archery club, there are no club joining fees to pay. You just book, turn up and shoot whenever suits you. Targeting Archery has insurance for archery sessions of this nature.

All equipment, coaching and insurance costs are included in the price.

Please note places are limited on each session so you need to confirm your place in advance to avoid disappointment by turning up unannounced.
